The University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) is a private Catholic university located in Detroit, Michigan, United States. It was formed in 1990 through the consolidation of two longstanding institutions: the University of Detroit (founded in 1877) and Mercy College of Detroit (founded in 1941). UDM offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs through its seven colleges and schools. These include the College of Business Administration, College of Engineering & Science, College of Health Professions & McAuley School of Nursing, School of Architecture, School of Dentistry, School of Law, and College of Liberal Arts & Education.
