The University of North Alabama (UNA) is a public university located in Florence, Alabama, USA. It was founded in 1830 as LaGrange College and later became North Alabama State Teachers College before transitioning to its current name in 1974. UNA is the oldest university in the state of Alabama and offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
